About JNV:
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) are a system of premier residential schools in India, run by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. They aim to provide quality modern education to talented students—especially from rural areas—completely free of cost.
JNVs focus on building students’ academic excellence, life skills, and all-round personality development. Along with strong academics, students are encouraged to participate in sports, co-curricular activities, art, culture, and leadership programs—helping them grow into confident and capable future citizens.
Admission Details:
Admissions are offered mainly for Class 6, with lateral entry for Class 9 and Class 11, through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST).
